⚙️ How Our Calculators Work

Accurate calculations based on official labor laws

📊 Calculation Methodology

Our calculators use the exact formulas specified in each country's official labor laws. We've programmed all the complex rules, exceptions, and conditions so you don't have to worry about mathematical errors or missing important details.

  • UAE: 21 days per year (first 5 years), 30 days after. Resignation reductions at 1-3 years (0%), 3-5 years (33%), 5+ years (100%)
  • Saudi Arabia: 15 days per year (first 5 years), 30 days after. Resignation reductions at 0-2 years (0%), 2-5 years (33%), 5-10 years (67%), 10+ years (100%)
  • Qatar: 21 days per year (all years). No resignation reductions - always 100% after 1 year
  • Kuwait: 15 days per year (first 5 years), 30 days after. 18-month cap. Resignation reductions similar to Saudi Arabia
  • Oman: 15 days per year (all years). Resignation reductions at 1-3 years, full after 3 years
  • Bahrain: 15 days per year (first 3 years), 30 days after. Various resignation rules apply

🎯 What Makes Us Accurate

Unlike simple calculators that give rough estimates, our tools account for:

  • Contract type (limited vs unlimited/indefinite)
  • Separation type (resignation, termination, contract expiry)
  • Exact service duration including partial years
  • Country-specific resignation penalty percentages
  • Maximum caps where applicable
  • Daily salary calculations (monthly ÷ 30)
  • Different rates for different service periods

✅ Regular Updates

Labor laws evolve, and we stay on top of changes. Our team monitors official government sources, ministry announcements, and labor law amendments across all GCC countries to ensure our calculators remain accurate and compliant with current regulations.
